Ashland Town stops being picked up and dropped off by the CAT bus #2-11 are:

Chandlerville town stops will be picked up by bus #1-10.  The times are

Bus #1-10 will leave the Chandlerville school to go to Ashland at 7:25 AM and return to the school at 4:08 PM

Please keep in mind that these times are estimates.  You should always allow at least a 5 minute lee-way for all times.

Also, don’t forget about the open house at the Elementary school tonight from 5:30 – 6:30 PM.  We hope to see all Early Childhood, Pre-K and Elementary students and their parents there!

The Early Childhood, Pre-K and Elementary Open house is tomorrow, Thursday, August 16^th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM in Chandlerville.  This is a time for you to meet your child’s teacher, bring their school supplies and sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences.  The sign up is first come, first serve, so be sure to get to each of your child’s classrooms to get the time you would prefer.

Hello!  This is an important reminder to all A-C Central parents.  If you have students playing fall sports, please be sure to check the “Extra Curricular Bus Time Schedule” weekly for bus times, as they may change week to week.  The link can be found on the school website at www.a-ccentral.com.  Look under Resources on the left and click on “Extra Curricular Bus Time Schedule.”  This is updated every weekend for the following week.  If you have any questions about the link for the schedule, please call Mrs. Martin at 217-458-2224 or email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The first day of school for students in Kindergarten through 12^th grade is Monday, August 20^th.  This is an early dismissal day.  Elementary students will dismiss at 11:05 and 11:10 AM and the Middle and High school students will dismiss at 11:30 AM.  There is no heat schedule this year because all classrooms have air conditioning.  We will begin regular dismissal of 2:45/2:50 PM for Elementary and 3:11 PM for Middle and High school students on Tuesday, August 21^st.

The first day of school for Pre-K and Early Childhood is Monday August 27^th.  This will be a regular day for those students.

Bus routes are being scheduled and you will receive a phone call, text or email by Thursday of this week with your student’s bus information.  If you have not registered, we do not have transportation information for your students so please register immediately!

Good evening.  We would like to thank all the parents that have registered their children for the upcoming school year.  It is greatly appreciated!  If you have not registered your children, please do so immediately even if you can not pay the full amount of fees due.

There will be a Parent meeting tonight at 6:30 PM in the commons area at PORTA High School for the following fall sports: Junior High Girls Basketball and Football and High School Football, Volleyball and Golf.
