Hello,

This is the A-C Central school district calling.

There will be an Open House in Chandlerville tomorrow, Thursday the 18th of August, from 5:30-6:30pm. Bring your child's school supplies with you and leave them here. Be aware that parking is available on the blacktop across from the school. Enjoy snow cones provided by the PTO located in front of the cafeteria. Discount cards are for sale in this same location.

School begins on Friday, August 19th.  There will be early dismissal at 11:10 for the Elementary and 11:30 for the Middle & High School.  For the week of the 22nd-26th there will be early dismissal at 1:50 for the Elementary and 2:10 for the Middle/High School.  Check bus times and pick-ups on our webpage.  Please be sure to register your student before the first day!

The A-C Central Student Council will be selling bags for the Classmate netbooks to be used by the 7-12 students.  They will have the A-C Central school logo embroidered on it. There is also the option to embroider either the student's first or last name on the bag. The cost will be $12 without a name and $14 with a name. Contact Mrs. Bobbitt with questions.

Middle School students that have not returned the form regarding Band and Chorus sign up need to do so immediately. Students that take both Band and Chorus will go from Chorus to Band during Period B4. Students that take one but not the other will go to Resource Utilization and Speech the other half of the period. Students taking neither Band or Chorus will be in an ISAT preparation class for the entire period. Please return your form so your student’s schedule can be completed.

Finally, all district staff will be attending an in-service tomorrow. If you attempt to contact the school, be aware that you may have to leave a message and that the appropriate staff will return your contact as soon as they can.
