Hello,

This is the A-C Central school district calling.

We will have an early out this Friday, the 2nd of September, at 11:30 for school improvement.

We will also be out of session on Monday, the 5th of September, for recognition of Labor Day.

There will be a PORTA/A-C tailgate party this Friday from 5:30 - 7:00pm at the football field. The sports boosters invite all fans to come meet & greet & kick off a big year for PORTA/A-C sports !

WDBR will be there with Blake the DJ, games, prizes, freebies & music to add to the fun !!

A Turasky's pork chop dinner with chips, drinks & desserts will be available for $5.00. Booster members are asked to bring a dessert to share (keep in mind that it will be 95 degrees on Friday). The "Bird Feeder" concession stand will also be open with our "world famous" cheese fries, burgers, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, candy & drinks.

New merchandise will be available & a membership table will be there....booster memberships are $ 15 for a family & include 5 free individual admissions to any PORTA/A-C athletic event.

Parents, all students in grades 7-12 now have their ClassMates, which is their laptop computer. Please help your child make sure that they have their computer charged up and ready to go each morning. Have them show you some of the features of the machine while they are at it!

Also, parents, if you child is planning to use their personal day, please remember that it must be pre-approved by the office in writing before the day will be excused.
