| PLAN Test | 
| American College Testing (ACT) offers PLAN, a comprehensive guidance and information program for high school sophomores. This program will be offered at A-C Central High School in November 2008. PLAN includes academic tests, an interest inventory, and questions and information about plans, needs, and goals for careers and post-secondary schools. All sophomores are provided with a booklet about PLAN to help them determine whether or not they would like to participate.
Students receive practical information about their academic progress, career interests, study habits, and present and future plans, needs, and goals. This information can help guide tenth graders in the selection of high school courses and activities. It can also increase students' awareness of career and educational opportunities. PLAN also serves as a practice for the ACT and gives an estimated ACT Assessment composite score range.
