A-C Central #262 Parents, Students, & Staff
A-C Central CUSD #262 is an outstanding School District and I am grateful to be a part of it; our teachers and staff are hard-working professionals and our students’ academic achievements are a proud representative of that work ethic. We have experienced great success with our HighSchool being chosen as one of the top 100 in Illinois and our academic collegiate preparation tests have shown significant upward growth for the past 3 years. Additionally, our buildings are energy efficient and air-conditioned. Certainly, if we want our students to do their best we need to make everyone comfortable. The energy efficient windows and roof have enhanced the looks of the building while cutting costs. We have become a technology model for several area schools who are looking to become aone-to-one computer 7-12 school as we have done. Technology is a way of teaching and learning that we take seriously and support. Education is always evolving; our 5 Year Strategic Plan supports this and we continue to work on those initiatives that are mandated and are good educational practice. Teachers are embracing Common Core Standards and working to make this transition seamless and effective. We encourage parental and community involvement; please assist us with your gifts and talents. We thank you for all that you do to enrich our learning experience!
