2-21-13 Early Dismissal - School Cancellation |

Good morning. This is an important message for all A-C Central parents.
Due to the impending weather for this afternoon, we will be dismissing early today, Thursday February 21st at 1:00 PM for the elementary and 1:30 PM for the Middle and High School. The afternoon Pre-K class will NOT be in session for today. Our students attending ARC or Lafayette in Jacksonville will be dismissing at 1:30 PM also today.
Also, we will NOT have school tomorrow, Friday, February 22nd due to the uncertain weather for this evening.
We will NOT be busing for extra-curricular events scheduled for either today or tomorrow.

2-13-13 Parent Teacher Conferences, President's Day |

Good evening. This is an important message for all A-C Central Parents.
Students will dismiss early tomorrow, Thursday, February 14th for Parent Teacher Conferences. The elementary will dismiss at 1:45 and 1:50 PM and the middle and high school will dismiss at 2:11 PM. School will NOT be in session Friday, February 15th for Parent Teacher Conferences. Slips have been sent home with the date and time of conferences for elementary students. Please be on time for your conference as teachers are on a tight time schedule and will start their next conference on time if you are not there. Conferences for middle school and high school students are on a first come, first serve basis per a teacher’s request.
Lost and found items need to be claimed at conferences. Items not claimed will be donated to Goodwill.
School will also not be in session on Monday, February 18th in observance of President’s Day.
A FAFSA workshop will be held on Thursday, February 14th in the Computer Lab at the Ashland building from 6-8:00 PM. Parents should bring their 1040 and w-2s from last year’s tax information to complete and submit the paperwork online that night. Please check the text version of this message on the school’s webpage to get a web address for finding your pin number that is required to complete the paperwork.

Good evening. This is an important message for all A-C Central parents.
School will NOT be in session on Monday, January 21st in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday.
Also, now that students are wearing hats, gloves, scarves and coats there is a large amount of Lost and Not Found items at both buildings. If you think your child is missing something, please have them check in the office at their school.

MS & HS Report Cards, AYA Basketball League |

Good evening. This is an important message for all A-C Central Parents.
Due to the snow day and the last semester exams being given late, report cards for the Middle and High school students will be sent out next Wednesday, January 16th. Elementary report cards have already been sent home with the students.
The Ashland Youth Association Basketball League begins this Sunday, January 6th. The league is open to all 1st through 4th Graders and will take place in the Ashland school gym. The 1st and 2nd graders will play from 1:00 – 2:30 PM and the 3rd and 4th graders will play from 2:30 – 4:00 PM. If your child would like to participate and you haven’t signed them up already, they may still play. You just need to take them to the gym at the time their grade will be playing to get signed up.
