FFA Auction, Post Prom Dinner |

Good Evening. This is an important message for all A-C Central parents. There are several events coming up this week that we would like to remind you of.
The FFA Labor Auction is tomorrow, Wednesday, November 28th. It begins at 6:00 PM in the gym. The FFA alumni group will also be sponsoring a dinner that will start at 5:30 PM.
Also, the post prom committee will be sponsoring a pork chop dinner on Friday, November 30th from 5-7 PM in the cafeteria at Ashland prior to the Porta/A-C boys basketball game vs. Havana.

Thanksgiving & Wreath Orders |

Good evening. This is an important message for all A-C Central parents.
There will be an early dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday, November 21st. The elementary will dismiss at 1:45 & 1:50 PM and the middle school and high school will dismiss at 2:11 PM.
Students will NOT have school on Thursday, November 22nd or Friday, November 23rd.
We wish you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
Also, the wreaths that were sold by the high school yearbook students will be delivered tomorrow Wednesday, November 21st. The students are responsible for picking them up and delivering to those that purchased.

Good evening. This is an invitation to all A-C Central parents.
Tomorrow, Friday, November 9th, there will be an assembly at 8:20 AM in the high school gym to honor our veterans. The Civil Air Patrol will be there to speak and we would like to invite our community members and any veteran you would like to invite to join us. All veterans will be welcome to speak also, if they wish.
The staff and student body are participating in a fundraiser and will be taking up a collection for Wreaths Across America to purchase Christmas wreaths to hang at Camp Butler. To show support for our troops and this fundraiser they will be wearing red, white and blue tomorrow. We would like to encourage our community to join us in wearing patriotic colors as well.
We hope to see many community members and veterans tomorrow as we truly value all members of the armed forces that help to keep us safe and secure our freedom. Thank you so much to all of you for everything that you do for our country!

Joint Board Mtg, Epilepsy Awareness, HS Tests |

Good evening! This is an important message for all A-C Central parents.
Please plan to attend the important joint board meeting with PORTA on November 1st at 7:00 PM in the Ashland HS Cafeteria. The feasibility study will be presented at this meeting. If you can not attend, the meeting will be streamed live at http://www.ihigh.com/accentral/ and will be archived there for future reference. The feasibility presentation slides are available here .
Also, Support Epilepsy Awareness on Saturday November 3, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the A-C Central High School Gym. There will be a pulled pork dinner with an auction beginning at 6:30 PM.
ALL Sophomores will be taking the PLAN test, one of the assessments in the series of state tests, on Nov. 13 from 8:30 - 11:30 AM. Another test in that same series will be given to all Freshmen on Nov. 15 from 8:30 - 11:30 AM also.
The Junior parent POST PROM meeting will be SUNDAY, November 11th at 2:00 PM in the Ashland cafeteria. This is a correction from a previous message.
