Good Evening.  This is an important message for all A-C Central parents.

Just a reminder to parents that tomorrow, Friday, October 19th will be an early dismissal day due to it being the end of the 1st Quarter.  The elementary will dismiss at 1:45 and 1:50 PM and the middle and high school will dismiss at 2:11 PM.

There is a group of high school students and parents that are organizing a Halloween Carnival in Ashland.  This will be open to all families.  The group has asked that we send out a global connect requesting donations from community members.

If you are able to donate, students in grades 9-12 are asked to donate baked goods for a Cake Walk.  It does not need to be a cake, it can be any baked good item.  Baked goods need to be brought to the Ashland cafeteria on Sunday October 28th between 11:00 – 5:30 PM.  If you need to drop them off earlier than that, please take them to Fadra Birdsell’s house.  Students in grades Kindergarten – 8 are asked to donate a bag of candy.  All candy donations need to be sent to your child’s school office.

All donations will be greatly appreciated!  The Ashland Halloween Carnival will be on Sunday, October 28th from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the Middle and High School in Ashland.

There will also be a Halloween parade sponsored by the PTO in Chandlerville on Monday, October 29th at the Elementary school in Chandlerville.  There will be a dinner from 5:00 – 6:30 PM.  Judging will be from 6:30 – 7:00 PM.  The A-C Marching Knights will perform at 7:00 PM and the results from judging will be announced after the band’s performance.  PTO is also still needing some helpers, so if you are able to help with judging or the dinner, please contact Beth Eilers or Elementary office.
