• Remote learning information

    Dear Parents and Students,

    As most of you already know, the A-C Central District 262 will begin the year as learning remotely.  Although we have plans to utilize both Seesaw and Google Classroom as an online learning platform, the technology we have ordered will not arrive until later in September.  We understand that many students do not have the digital resources to complete those assignments without school-issued technology.  Therefore, we will begin by passing out books, supplies, and packets until the new technology is ready for student use.   Lunches will still be available for pick up in the buildings, but those students not enrolled in the free and reduced program will be charged.  

    Our initial packet and supply pickup day will be this Friday, August 21 from 11:30-2:30.  This will be held for K-4 students at the Chandlerville campus.  Students will meet their teachers, pick up books, supplies, and homework.  That packet will be due the following Friday when parents will also receive the next week’s new information and packets.  All packets will be graded and returned.  Classroom teachers will be available for assistance during the hours of 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  

    We will set up a pickup location outside of the gym on the North side of the building. On Friday, each classroom will have their own table where the students can find their supplies and teacher.  Please wear a mask when approaching your classroom table.  There will be a sign-in sheet that will require an email address and phone number for correspondence.  We would also like all parents to sign up for the school Remind by texting @8g78aa to 81010.  

    When exchanging new packets for completed packets, we can do the exchange in the Ashland Campus. Only the initial pickup and the (future) technology pickup will require attendance in Chandlerville.  

    If this pickup time does not work with your schedule, please email your classroom teacher to make arrangements.
