• Dear A-C Central Students, Families and Staff:

This morning A-C Central Administration was informed of a teacher who has tested positive for Covid.  The School District, in cooperation with the County Department of Public Health, has conducted contact tracing as a result of this positive test, which has resulted in the quarantine of several individuals.  Due to health privacy laws, the identities of the individuals will not be released. Any students or staff who were in close contact with the cases have been notified.

As a result of this issue, the A-C Central Middle School-High School will be going fully remote for approximately 2 weeks.   The A-C Central Elementary school WILL REMAIN OPEN.

According to the County Health Department, if anyone thinks they’ve been exposed to a case of COVID-19, they should monitor themselves for any signs of illness for 14 days from the most recent possible contact with an individual.  If they are experiencing any symptoms, they should contact their local health care providers.

MS-HS teachers will operate as we did to start the year.

Thank you and please stay safe.

    Timothy M. Page

    Superintendent

    A-C Central School District #262
