A-C CENTRAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/BIDS:

A-C Central CUSD #262 is soliciting proposals from independent certified public accounting firms to provide audit and management advisory services for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

A copy of District’s budget for FY2020 will be available on the District’s webpage.  We would appreciate your review of these statements and an indication of your interest in this relationship by responding to the District with a proposal no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 1, 2020.  Your proposal should be all-inclusive and follow the instructions found in the file below.  Keep in mind it is extremely important to the District that the specific personnel on the audit team have a thorough understanding of and experience relating to nonprofit accounting, specifically with public school systems. 

The proposals will be reviewed and the ultimate decision to engage a particular firm will be made by the A-C Central Board of Education at their May 20, 2020 Board meeting. 

Additional data via an interview may be requested to assist the District in making the decision.

The Board reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in the proposal process, to reject any or all proposals, or any part of the proposal, for any reason.

            This contract is subject to the provisions of the EQUAL EMPLOYMENT

            OPPORTUNITY CLAUSE as provided by the Illinois Fair employment

            Practices Commission, and the Illinois Compiled Statutes.

The Board considers audit services a professional service and, therefore, not subject to the applicable purchasing legislation.
