Need help navigating the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA)? Make a 30-minute appointment at LLCC-Jacksonville between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. All students welcome to meet with an LLCC Financial Aid advisors. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred. Text reminders will be sent to those who RSVP. Individuals can also call 217-243-6699 to sign up over the phone.

ISAC representative Kaylee Wobig will be at A-C Central middle/high school on October 8th at 4:00 p.m. during parent teacher conferences.
She will be hosting a financial aid application workshop to help parents/guardians/students fill out their FAFSA. Attached is the link to begin filling out the

Students and parents must create their own Studentaid.gov account before filling out the FAFSA, however if you would like to wait to fill it out during the workshop that is fine too (https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch).
This is what families need to bring if filling out both applications:
Federal 2025 tax returns, W-2's, and other records of income
Banking statements and records of investments
Records of untaxed income
List of colleges student would like to attend
This is what families need to bring if filling out the FAFSA only:
Student's Social Security Number, if parent doesn't have one it's okay
Alien Registration Number, if student is not a U.S. Citizen

Students can hear about different careers while also participating in hands-on activities such as welding, laying bricks, building toolboxes, and more while connecting directly with local unions and apprenticeship programs.

Check-in is from 8:30-8:45 with the day concluding at 2:00-2:15, with lunch being provided.
This event is designed for high school students who are interested in exploring manufacturing, skilled trades, workforce program and STEM-related careers. The goal of this event is to give students a firsthand look at what these careers have to offer and how their education and skills can translate into real-world opportunities in a manufacturing company.
Locations this year will be Bound to Stay Bound Books, Rutland Products, and ILMO Products.
Students will experience careers firsthand through manufacturing plant tours in the morning, and hands-on activities led in partnership with the University of Illinois Extension in the afternoon.

Representatives from the service academies will be available to talk with students about their programs and applications along with answering any questions students may have about the service academies.
