Our senior student of the month for January is Katelyn Gutmann. Kate is the daughter of Kent and Karen Gutmann. She is described by her teachers as a responsible hard working student that has a clear moral gauge and direction. Kate is mature, polite and conscientious with homework. She is always willing to lend a helping hand. Kate is also involved in many extra curricular activities including Cheerleading, FFA and Beta Club to name a few. We are proud to call Kate an A-C Central Knight!
The 8th grade student of the month for January is Jacey Ratliff. Jacey is the daughter of Amy Ratliff and David Darnell. Jacey is described as a hardworking and responsible student. Jacey always comes prepared for class, participates in class discussions, and is willing to help any student. She is a true class leader. Jacey serves as Vice President of the Student Council and participates in Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. Jacey is a mentor to the younger players. Jacey always follows the Knight Code. We are proud to call Jacey an A-C Central Knight!

Parent teacher conferences will be held this week on Wednesday February 15 and Thursday February 16 from 3-7 pm at both the Chandlerville and Ashland campuses.
Also, important information was sent via email to parents today regarding 5Essentials surveys for parents and students. Please take a moment to complete the parent survey today or complete the survey during conferences this week. You can earn incentives for your student as a result.

We will be honoring the 1997-1998 Sweet Sixteen A-C Central Basketball team on Thursday, February 16 during the PORTA/A-C basketball game here at A-C. The team will be recognized between the JV & Varsity game. It is also Senior Night!

Students in Physical Science are experimenting with a Steam Activity after studying Thermal Energy. The students have created a 20cm x 20cm container that will insulate a beaker of hot water and Keep the Heat. They have tested their device once and now are working to improve it.
