Our Senior Student of the Month for October is Lainey Bartels. Lainey is the daughter of Amy Richardson and Josh and Michele Bartels. Lainey is described by teachers and staff as an all around great student. She is creative and insightful and loves to read and write. Lainey is helpful, intelligent and hard working. She is an active participant in classes and isn’t afraid to share ideas. Lainey holds offices in many school clubs including FFA Co-President and STAR President just to name a few. We are proud to call Lainey an A-C Central Knight!
Our 8th grade Student of the Month for October is Caray Jo Rhoads. Caray Jo is the Daughter of the late Amanda Jo Rhoads and Honorary Daughter of Garrett and Anna Stevens. Caray Jo is described by teachers and staff as a kind, considerate. and compassionate person. She is always respectful to both her classmates and adults alike. She is always ready to stand up for others and looks out for others and their well-being. Caray Jo’s teachers report that she always has exceptional grades, always participates in class activities, and can be found at most school events and functions to support her classmates and her school.

Our 8th grade Student of the Month for September is Kaidence Goodall. Kaidence is the daughter of Alyssa Miles and Kevin Goodall. Kaidence is described by her teachers as a hard working, dedicated student, who is always prepared for class and actively participates in class discussions. Kaidence is always kind and helpful to other students and adults. She is compassionate, caring, polite, and shows strength beyond her years. You can find her participating in or supporting any of our school events. We are proud to call Kaidence an A-C Central Knight.

She is described by her teachers as a responsible, respectful and an all around good student. Jayce is a hardworking and helpful student who leads her class. She takes initiative to get things done and is an excellent writer. Jayce is involved in many extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, FFA Co-President and National Honors Society to name a few. These high-achieving students are selected annually based on their ACT or SAT exams and sixth semester class rank and are recognized for their exceptional academic achievement. The scholars rank in approximately the top ten percent of graduates from Illinois high schools. More than 16,770 students from 690 high schools were selected for this prestigious honor.
