Our 8th grade Student of the Month for September is Kaidence Goodall. Kaidence is the daughter of Alyssa Miles and Kevin Goodall. Kaidence is described by her teachers as a hard working, dedicated student, who is always prepared for class and actively participates in class discussions. Kaidence is always kind and helpful to other students and adults. She is compassionate, caring, polite, and shows strength beyond her years. You can find her participating in or supporting any of our school events. We are proud to call Kaidence an A-C Central Knight.


Our senior student of the month for September is Jayce Privia. Jayce is the daughter of Brant and Kathie Privia. She is described by her teachers as a responsible, respectful and an all around good student. Jayce is a hardworking and helpful student who leads her class. She takes initiative to get things done and is an excellent writer. Jayce is involved in many extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, FFA Co-President and National Honors Society to name a few. We are proud to call Jayce Privia an A-C Central Knight!


Congratulations to seniors, Jayce Privia and Lainey Bartels, for being named Illinois State Scholars for 23-24 school year!
These high-achieving students are selected annually based on their ACT or SAT exams and sixth semester class rank and are recognized for their exceptional academic achievement. The scholars rank in approximately the top ten percent of graduates from Illinois high schools. More than 16,770 students from 690 high schools were selected for this prestigious honor.

5th graders are busy learning about Native Americans and just finished a unit on the Paleo Indians. With this unit, they learn about artifacts and how they reveal information about the past. On display in our hallway are their versions of artifacts from the Aztecs and Mayas.

We are excited to announce tomorrow we are wearing BLUE & WHITE, in support of our talented high school athletes at A-C Central . As they prepare for our Volleyball game here tonight against New Berlin and the Homecoming game tomorrow night against Pleasant Plains, let's come together as a school community to show our unwavering support.
Whether it's a t-shirt, a jersey, a cheerleading uniform, or simply accessorizing with blue and white, let's come together to create a sea of blue and white !!! The High school grade with the most blue and white on will win treats from Ms. Ericka and Ms. Nikki on Monday!!
In addition to dressing up, we'd like to invite you to attend tonight's volleyball game here at A-C Central starting at 5pm with the freshmen followed by junior varsity and varsity matches. The Homecoming game tomorrow night at 7pm at Jack Coil Field at PORTA when our football team will be giving it their all on the field. Let's pack these stands, cheer our hearts out, and let our athletes know we stand behind them 100%.
